Noroclox DC Intramammary Suspension
Noroclox DC Intramammary Suspension is a dry cow tube containing cloxacillin in a long acting base. It is active against Gram-positive organisms associated with mastitis and is effective against Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus dysgalactiae and other Streptococcal species, and Arcanobacterium pyogenes. As cloxacillin is not destroyed by staphylococcal penicillinase. Noroclox DC is active against penicillin resistant staphylococci which are an important cause of bovine mastitis. Legal Category POM

Indications
For routine use in cows at drying-off to treat existing intramammary infections and to assist in preventing new infections occurring during the dry period. It is effective against- Streptococcus agalactiae Streptococcus dysgalactiae Other Streptococcal spp Staphylococci spp Arcanobacterium pyogenes The product maintains effective antibacterial levels in the dry cow udder for approximately 4 weeks and is bactericidal in action.

Dosage
The contents of one intramammary syringe should be gently infused into each quarter immediately after the final milking of a lactation.
