SRC Higher Education Graduation 2009 Sponsor
Norbrook was the proud sponsor of SRC higher education graduation held in the city hotel Armagh. Hundreds of students graduated from some of the 67 third level education courses available at the College. Degrees, Foundation Degrees, HND's, HNC's and many more professional qualifications were awarded to graduands from the College's Armagh, Banbridge, Newry, Lurgan and Portadown Campuses.
Norbrook also sponsor an annual student award of £5000 and two runner-up prizes of £3000. The much sought after Norbrook Prize was presented by Martin Murdock Norbrook's Director of Finance at the conclusion of the ceremony.
The Norbrook Prize was awarded to a student of Southern Regional College who was completing a full time FE programme of study at Level 3 (e.g. A level equivalent). The prize was awarded to the individual who best demonstrated that they had the skills and attributes that are most relevant for future employment and not solely on the basis of academic achievement.
Lisa Meegan from Crossmaglen was awarded top prize. The two runners-up prizes were awarded to Sinead O'Hagan from Blackwatertown and Stephanie Smith from Craigavon.
