Norbrook Joins Ovine Experts at International Congress

The Norbrook team were amongst hundreds of animal health and ovine experts who attended the recent five-day International Sheep Veterinary Congress.

The event presented an opportunity to discuss, learn and share how production efficiencies and flock health can be improved, to sustainably meet the needs of a growing global population.

With the UK sheep population topping more than 33 million, Norbrook is focussed on supporting vets and sheep farmers with practical advice on performance and health, including seasonal issues such as liver fluke control on farms.

Upon arrival at the event, held at Harrogate International Centre from May 21st to 26th, delegates received a scratch card in their delegate bag which featured a four-digit code.

Their mission was to input this unique number into the combination safe located on Norbrook’s stand, to discover whether they had cracked the code and won a £100 prize.

One of the winning delegates was Liz Jones, from Ddole Road Vets, Powys – pictured receiving her £100 competition prize from Paul Uglow, Norbrook Territory Manager.

Dr Leigh Sullivan, Norbrook Large Animal Product Manager, says the event was an enormous success: “It was great to welcome vets to the stand to share knowledge and present our latest range of products. It was also an opportunity to promote our supporting materials for sheep farmers and vets including our range of best practice guides.”

Electronic copes of Norbrook’s best practice guides, including; ‘Best practice guide for fluke and worm control in sheep’ are available at
