Liam joined Norbrook in February 2015 as Chief Executive Officer. Since joining Norbrook, Liam has strengthened the Leadership Team and implemented a 5-year strategic plan driving year-on-year growth. Liam was appointed Chairman & CEO in August 2019 and became Chairman in October 2023 when Andrea Iucci was appointed Norbrook's new CEO.

Liam has more than 30 years’ international business experience in finance, operations, marketing as well as mergers and acquisitions and has held senior roles in a range of industries throughout his career.

Prior to joining Norbrook, Liam was Chairman of SISK Group’s construction and healthcare businesses from 2014 to 2015, having previously held the position of Chief Executive of SISK Group from 2008-2014.

In 2003 Liam became Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Bookham Technology, where he was appointed President and Chief Operations Officer in 2004. Prior to this, Liam was a senior executive at Intel from 1994 to 1997 and led the start up for Bay Networks Europe as Vice-President of Operations from 1997-1998. When Nortel Networks acquired Bay Networks in 1998, he held a number of senior roles in Nortel.

CEO

Andrea Iucci joined Norbrook as CEO in October 2023 from IDEXX where he was Vice President for Companion Animal Central and Eastern Europe at IDEXX following a distinguished career of over two decades in the commercial pharmaceutical sector.  

Andrea joined IDEXX in 2017 and during this time, he focused on expanding markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, China, Brazil and Italy. Under Andrea's leadership, the IDEXX EMEA region almost doubled it's revenues in the last five years. In recognition of his valuable contributions, he was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President and Corporate Office, EMEA in 2020. In this role, Andrea played a pivotal part in implementing business expansion in key European markets. Throughout these strategic endeavours, he prioritised customers, regularly visiting practices to better understand their needs and cultivate partnerships to help grow their practices. His commitment to strategic thinking to develop people and businesses is present in his daily work.

Before joining IDEXX, Andrea worked at Abbott, where he held various positions, starting in 2012. He initially served as the General Manager for the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the EPD division. Later, he assumed the role of Regional Director for Abbott Pharmaceutical Division in Central Europe, followed by Director of the DVP, Great China Pediatric, Abbott Nutrition International in Shanghai, China, in March 2016. Prior to his tenure at Abbott, Andrea gained valuable experience in Marketing, Sales, and Regional Management roles with renowned companies like Pfizer, J&J, Zambon, and company management at Sigma Tau Group – Avantgarde.

From 2008 to 2012, during his tenure at the family-owned Sigma Tau Group - Avantgarde, Andrea successfully led the company with a diverse portfolio of around 150M Euro. This portfolio included prescribed products, branded generics, OTC medications, oral care, and food supplements. Under his guidance, the company experienced significant growth, owing to well-executed commercial and innovation strategies, disciplined investment decisions, and a strong focus on talent development. Andrea attended La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy, where he earned a degree in Business and Administration.

Andrea, born and raised in Rome, Italy, has been happily married to Elena for 19 years. They live together in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with their two children: Alessandro (18 years old) and Beatrice (15 years old). Outside work, Andrea enjoys travelling, music, reading, sports and cooking.

Oliver McAllister joined Norbrook in 2023 from Dale Farm where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer since 2020. At Dale Farm, which is leading dairy business with a turnover in excess of £600m, Oliver developed a business strategy which successfully achieved a trebling of net profitability over a 3 year period.  Oliver was also responsible for raising £150m, for capex and working capital needs. Oliver has over 23 years’ experience in finance, having spent the early part of his career at PwC, before joining Garvagh Investment Group as Finance Director in 2008. In this family-owned business, Oliver was responsible for leading the finance function and providing strategic & commercial guidance. In 2013, Oliver returned to PwC as a Director, leading complex client projects. In 2017, he was appointed as Group Finance Director of Foyle Food Group where his focus areas included margin enhancement, cost control, working capital improvements as well as improving business planning. Oliver holds a BSc Finance from Queen’s University Belfast and is a Chartered Accountant.

Shane Relihan joined Norbrook in 2022 as Chief Operating Officer providing leadership and enabling performance across the supply chain.

Shane has over 25 years experience in the healthcare industry.  Shane spent the majority of his career with Novartis and held a number of senior roles in Germany, Switzerland and Ireland across operations, culminating in his appointment as Managing Director for Novartis Operations and Business Services in Cork, Ireland.  Throughout this time, Shane held key leadership roles in Quality, Operational Excellence and Supply Chain activities for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Solid and Sterile Dosage forms.

Denise joined Norbrook in May 2015 as HR Director having previously held positions as Head of HR for OpenHydro Group and HR Director for Coca-Cola HBC Island of Ireland. Since joining Norbrook, Denise has led the People Strategy to enhance employee engagement and develop a great place to work. Denise has more than 20 years HR experience. Denise has a PhD in chemistry and started her career in the professional body for chemists – Royal Society of Chemistry (1995 – 1999). Denise then transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry in GlaxoSmithKline (UK) where she held various senior HR roles (2000 – 2007) before returning to Ireland to work for Coca-Cola HBC Island of Ireland, rising to the position of HR Director in 2012. She then joined OpenHydro Group as Head of HR where she had responsibility for HR, Facilities and Communications.

Cathy joined Norbrook in 2015 as Director of Quality. Since joining Norbrook, Cathy has implemented best in class Quality standards and been instrumental in the design & construction of new QC laboratories. Previously, Cathy held roles as Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development at Warner Chilcott Ltd, UK (now Allergan) and site leader for Warner Chilcott Ireland, Dundalk, Ireland. Cathy has more than 15 years of pharmaceutical experience. Cathy has a PhD in Analytical Chemistry/Biochemistry and started her career as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Queen’s University of Belfast. She then transitioned to Galen Ltd, UK in 1999 where she worked in Regulatory Affairs before moving to Pharmaceutical Development with Warner Chilcott Ltd, UK in 2002. Cathy held senior roles in development before rising to the position of Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development with responsibility for product development, drug discovery, clinical supplies delivery, global technical services and was site leader for Warner Chilcott, Ireland.

Lillian joined Norbrook having completed a PhD in biomedical sciences at University of Ulster in 1991, followed by a law degree at Queens’ University in 1993. Lillian has held a number of senior management positions, having first established the Regulatory Affairs function within the company, and over the next 20 years led the Regulatory and Research and Development Departments in the development and registration of all new products on an international level. In 2009 she also became a Qualified Person (QP) and was appointed the Director of Science in 2012. Lillian currently leads the Scientific function encompassing oversight of research and development, regulatory and pharmacovigilance activities and is a member of the Leadership Team bringing 30 years’ industrial pharmaceutical business experience to her role.

Joanne joined Norbrook in 2021 where she became Head of Project Management. Joanne is a member of the Leadership team with responsibility for the Project Management function while supporting the business in driving the strategic initiatives for ongoing success. 

Joanne has over 14 years' experience in the manufacturing industry, having started her career in Randox Toxicology as a Validations Scientist before being promoted to Team Leader and then R&D Manager.  In March 2020, Joanne was promoted Head of Clinical Laboratory Services leading the largest Covid Testing lab in Europe. Joanne holds a PhD in Molecular & Cellular Pathology.
