Vet graduate receives award for achieving top marks in small animal surgery

For the last twelve years, Norbrook has been delighted to sponsor the University College Dublin, vet student of the year. It gives Norbrook great confidence for the future when we see so many talented graduates complete their degrees and enter the animal health industry. This year, the student of the year was Ava Patterson. Ava achieved the highest mark in small animal surgery and received a financial award from Norbrook in recognition of her achievement.

Maura Langan, Commercial Technical Manager farm animal, commented:

"As an alumni of the University College Dublin School of Veterinary medicine, it is a pleasure to return to the annual graduation ceremony. A career as a vet is a challenging one but hugely rewarding and I am always impressed by the calibre of students who will go on to improve and benefit our industry."

Julie Bilchak added: "We're delighted to recognise Ava's achievements. Our industry is continuing to change as technology and regulations evolve and it is exciting to see the graduation of future vet leaders. We wish Ava and all of the graduates, the very best in their future careers"
